All held together with four zip ties. Wow. (I didn't attach the rear bottom joint, as I wanted this to be able to fold flat--the easel I made the other day is also not permanently hooked together).
Oh now this one I could do myself. I think I even have some old racks that look like this to use. Thanks for the great idea! Ah I see I am using those racks as a box for some files down on the floor here in my office at work, but not many files in there. I could move them somewhere else. Oh goodie. LOL Will watch for these gals to grow too in your painting. (how funny that I looked right at that box as I was writing this!!!)
I'm so glad my husband happened to be sitting here when I was reading your blog. He said, "Would you like an easel?" Would I! With your great ideas, I may have one in the near future too. Thank you.
Now I have some of those already out in the garage and I have ties! However, I don't have room on the dining room table for any more of my 'rubbish / clutter / WIP.' Cheers
What great ideas. I think a lot of have these wire storage units and have extra's I know I will be looking for mine and seeing what I can do with them.
oh that is interesting! i have been looking for tiny easels to make for the festival. at aaron brothers they sell them for about $4 which seems like a lot of money to do the display. I am keeping my eye open.
The painting is beautiful. The thing that caught my eye on this painting was the loving ambiance of this canvas; the couple looks so romantic and sweet.
I like all your DIY ideas... but this is brilliant. If I see anything similar, I'm making me one of those! In the meantime, I have wood lying around, so I'll go for the organic one this weekend! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Well aren't you clever!

I like your idea of putting all together 3squared screens and create a painting stand out of it, that’s very clever and resourceful of you.
