The Waterboy

Today I spent several hours in the studio. It felt good to have time to work. Katie really does seem to be feeling better--she danced around the livingroom this morning to show me how great she felt!

I like this piece. Tomorrow I'll post all the different photos that I used to make The Waterboy--mainly because I think it's interesting how photos/paintings/textures morph when they're used in Photoshop...

Oh yes, please show us. I would find that fascinating. I like this one, especially the illumination around the boy. So mysterious! I can imagine a children's book illustrated by you being one of my favourites when I was a wee lassie.

This and the picture from the previous post SO have a story that goes behind them. I don't know what it is, but surely there are stories attached to the images - all the better I have to make them up! These are grand - and you're using Photoshop and I'm remembering I've done 3 whole pages in that book. Really, I'm going to give myself the gift of doing this sometime this year if it means I have to commandeer the cottage from *all the people who are stopping by to consider buying it* (I am visualizing hordes of people here).
I love the way the boy's hat echoes the shape of the moon - or is that just me?
