I've been doing all these trees that are odd things--flowers, sea urchins, shells, etc. This certainly is quite a sprout! I experimented for a long time with adding some words and finally got it to look the way I wanted. I love the colors.
a lot of fun it reminds me a lot of the art my girls used to do (and I don't mean that in a bad way); the imagination in which they would see the world

Ooh, I wish you were my neighbor... I'd spy on you while you worked.
I (finally) linked to your site. Not your blog but your Etsy page, I know it's presumptuous but we all love having your work hang in our home.
I see I'm making a few enemies with my rabble rousing ways... so if you want I can cut the link.
But... I'd like to see you make a buck. :)

I love the colors, too. An odd sprout is a very unique sprout!

Great texture, and use of scrap newspaper. I love how the paint is so rough, cool!
