I was just playing with some transparent fluid acrylics, here (Golden's Quinacridone Burnt Orange, Quin. Nickel Azo Gold, Paynes Gray, Pyrrole Red, and Transparent Pyrrole Orange). This kind of stuff makes me happy--there's no pressure to do anything but play.

oooh, this piece is lusciously mysterious...my kinda vibe!
what is the blue colour at the bottom of the painting?
The blue at the bottom of the painting is Golden Fluid Acrylic in Payne's Gray--not very gray, is it?
I'm tempted to show you my feeble attempt [it's a schematic to help small people sequence five tasks, but it's so dreadful that I think I'd prefer just to look at yours. One thing - is it possible to make them bigger on the screen? Yours the technically challenged one. Cheers
yum-love these colors. My kind of colors (Aries, fire, you know)...must go get some and try them out! I already have the Payne's grey, which really is black, isn't it?
In the Golden Fluid Acrylics, at least, the Payne's Gray is like a transparent navy--mixed with zinc white it becomes a lighter gray/blue.
