On My To-Do List

I'd love to say I have nothing to do but paint between now and Christmas, but that wouldn't be true.

My first and most pressing task is to hem the dress that Katie is wearing to Christmas ball. It's beautiful, but there are three layers to hem, and it's very flowing at the hemline, so it's going to take some time... The dance is this Saturday, so I'll get cracking on that tonight.

Then, the girls each want me to make them new knitted berets--so that'll be next on my list. And then of course there are Katie's basketball games to attend, and dinners to make and shopping to do--

I'm getting worn out just thinking about it! But--I will say that I can look down the road a little bit and see what my life will be like when all three kids are gone--I'll be very UN-busy and I know I'll miss these very busy days...
