A Long Story--

I've been gone for awhile--mainly because I tried to stop taking some medications that I apparently REALLY NEED--I was fine for awhile, but the last ten weeks or so have not been good.

I've still been making art, and now I'm going to try and get back into the swing of communicating--it's hard, so not sure if I'll be very good at writing even when I feel like isolating myself--but I'll try.

Your doodled and painted owl is beautiful. So good to see you at PPF again. But one this is missing. You left us up in the air about Katy. She was having a root canal the day before she was giving a valedictory; speech. Was she alert enough the next day to carry it off? I know after root canals it takes me a few days to be normal. Congratulations on having such a brilliant Katy. I know you are proud of her.

Oh Karen: I would have so much to talk to you about re meds...I too went off mine about a month ago and crash after 3 weeks and just went back on (bipolar) I so hear you and would love if you would email. I've been since 14 and have been a minister/counsellor in psychiatry for 30 years! Oy - when the counsellor becomes a patient. This owl is outstanding. I love the zentangle. I love the colors and I love the shapes. It is really truly beautiful. Funny, some of our best art/poetry etc. is done when we lament eh! Heartfully yours Karen, Samara metaphysicalscience@gmail.com xox

start where you are comfortable. a picture, a few words. we're here. no pressure. the most important thing is to support yourself and feel good in your heart
