San Diego

Taken from the water in Mission Bay...

And, obviously, this is not a painting--I did not even take out my paints of sketchbook while we were in San Diego! Jenny and I had a wonderful time just hanging out together, and art-making just never seemed to fit into my day!

Back in the studio today, hopefully!

What a spectacular scene! We spent our first 3 years of married life in CA and most of that was in Coronado. BTW I like your wearable art in the previous post.

I know how you feel, I've put my painting aside all summer long! Just haven't been inspired enough...

Thanks for your sweet comment on my painting!

This photograph is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

You asked what pastels I liked best. I really like Rembrandt. They are not too hard and not too soft. I love the way they look especially when I work on black paper.

I love your photograph! Sometimes taking a break is necessary to recharge the creative nugget in our brains. Blessings!
