More Playing for Paint Party Friday

I've been painting like crazy this week--out in the studio every day--and completely ignoring the blog. So, to catch up--

I've decided to do my first craft fair this fall. This is a scary big step for me, but Katie in particular has been encouraging me. I'll have both wearable and frameable art (jewelry and prints and canvases ;) as well as sets of my postcards.

I'm a little lost, in that I have no idea what quantities of stuff I'll need, so any guidance from those of you who are more experienced would be deeply appreciated!

This is one of the pieces I've been working on this week--

Wow I so love the colors in this, Good luck at the fair, I done something similar and just take whatever you have done, I found people were very nice and complementary even if they didn't buy.

i would definitely take some of everything you do...too much is good as taking things home is better than not having enough.People like choices. Someone told me that seeing a lot of duplicates is good too as it looks like you do sell a lot. I love your cards! This painting is full of color and design it sings to me!! Wishing you many sales at the fair. HPPF!

Your painting is beauuuuuuutiful! I've done art shows from both sides of the booth and have to say that if you bring lots of $10-20 items and then some big expensive stuff...you should be set!

Love the deep, rich colors in this piece. I haven't worked a booth for so many years. I agree--have some cheaper things and some more expensive things. Variety. And just enjoy the experience. Oh, and make sure you have someone else with you so you can go to the bathroom and not leave the booth unattended. ;)
