Some Doodling...

I've been sitting and watching the Orioles' game with Richard (he's a diehard fan) and doodling some of what I would call the more 'organic' Zentangle patterns. I really like the top one, which was, I've read, inspired by Mucha and Art Deco designs.

I'm not very good at just sitting and watching TV--I really prefer sketching and kind of listening to the TV. I'm definitely the least dedicated of my family as far as that goes...

I've been having trouble with keeping my lines smooth and fine. Oddly enough (or maybe not), that was helped when I put on a pair of Richard's reading glasses. I may have reached that age... Sigh...

Hello Karen, what beautiful doodles. I love your art, your collages, so romantic in style and your mixed media paintings, as well as your photography. You are a very creative soul, thanks for stopping by at dreamcolour, great to share with you.

I am usually doing something else while I am watching TV, too. It has to be something that really grabs me for me to actually just sit and watch. These are cool! So relaxing to play like this, I think. :)

Nice flow in your zentangles, graceful curves.
I loved the previous collage too! Gorgeous layers.
Thanks for your comment today. :) I have recently started decluttering/reorganizing my stuff because I´ve realized that the way I had been doing things didn´t serve the "me today" any more. I´m sharing my journey (and a list of simple tasks plus tips) in my FB page ( http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paula-Buenos-Aires/226519094046024 )in case you want to play along. :)
