Hmmm...

Anybody else out there ever feel overwhelmed? Nothing specific I can point to, just a general feeling of unease ("impending doom" might be too strong of a description--)

Like I'm just hurtling down Life's track in my little old car, and the steering has gone out and the brakes are bad and the map I think is in the glove compartment is actually sitting on the coffee table at home--

But what do you do? You just keep going...

Haven't painted in four days. Maybe this feeling is a reminder to get back out to the studio...

My DH and I were in a whirlwind of chaois the past four days figuring out his retirement plans, applying for it, applying for social security and Medicare; deciding which supplimental health insurance plan to go with, heads spinning trying to understand plans A-Z. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown.
But it's done (almost) he goes to file papers today for HIS retirement. I am looking forward to going back to my office to work. And I kept drawing through out. i think it gave me sanity. You can see drawings I did over this weekend on my blog.

I've had a kind of similar feeling--of days slipping away because my body has the upper hand. Loss of control, I guess. Some days it bums me out. But--you just keep going, like you said. Make the best of whatever life dishes out that day--LOL! ;)
