Getting Ready

Trying to finish enough paintings so I won't have to sweat it out when it comes time to hang a dozen pieces at Cafe 225--Here's what I've been working on.

As I look at more of the images on your blog I realize that you layer paper on the substrate before painting. I do the same thing. It looks as though you let more of the paper show through than I do. I don't know what it is, but I just have to do the paper thing before I can begin the paint thing.

How nice to have a show !!!!!! I am dreaming of a show !!! Oh how I want to do a show. Soon, I hope. I'm just finishing up a web site, biz cards and postcards to complete the portfolio. A lot of work. Fortunately I have a semi retired husband who is my "assistant".

I'm anxious to learn how your show went, I hope you'll post photos.

Again, nice finding you. That Cest Andrea and Miss Doodle are such sweethearts, so you must be as well.

Beautiful! I'm so proud of you. I wish I could come to that cafe and see them all up on the wall. Will you take a photo of that for me?
