She was a runaway bride, disappearing almost into thin air. He never saw her again. He always knew she was flighty.
Oh, this was hard. I've been so busy painting people this last week, but of course I didn't have any wedding paintings! I tried to do a digital drawing, but found out I need to do way more work on my PS skills, at least in that direction!

Excellent!!
Very cool. I like her eyes. She really looks like the infamous runaway bride.
really like it. i agree she looks very unsure about this wedding thing
I, too, like this, Karen. I think it's interesting how many different emotions can be read into her eyes.
love you chagall-esque painting...will be back often...blessings, rebecca
this is so beautiful, karen!!
I love the background! and her nose :).
Have a beautiful day.
Ciao.
It is very beautiful and poetic.
First of all, why is the art in the garage? :-)
I like this one. Nice work, Karen!
you have a great style, why do digital when you can go wet and mixed (media, that is!)
continuously joyful work! nice. :-)
i hear ya on the ps skills. i'm a graphic designer, and i still find there's a million things to learn every time i open that program.
i always think, "more another day"--!
I can hear the wedding march faintly in the background coming out of the sheet of music of course, fainter as she floats further on her way... I love this whole series.
Etherial, elusive, bewitching ... and yet she slips through your fingers. Really great work! I'm enjoying these :-)
rather gorgeous i would say!
