Jessie at Diary of a Self-Portrait has made a commitment to do a painting every day for the next thirty days, and I'm going to join her. I did this last November with Leah at Creative Every Day, and it was really a jumpstart for my commitment and my creativity.
So I will be posting my daily dose of creativity here, every day, just as I hope Jessie does! Anyone else want to join? I'll put up a link list. I'll include creative writing, too, since I'm definitely going to participate in NaNoWriMo this year (National Novel Writing Month).

well, i plan on doing this with more gusto in november. it's the 5th anniversary of art-every-day-month! but perhaps i'll do this with you gals even if it's just a lil somethin'-somethin'. :-)

Karen, I am thinking of doing the NaNoWriMo too...still just thinking about it, though. Congratulations on your commitment to create art each day!
This is such a great way to stimulate creativity. I mostly lack the self-discipline to commit to writing every day, but maybe that will change if I partake in something such as this.
Fantastic Idea! I just know I should be joining in with this as my productivity is way down, almost zilch, but I am worried I really won't stick to it...

My eldest daughter and I both resolved to do this [create, usually sketch, draw or paint every day, just as I used to do, several life times ago] I don't know if she kept it up, but I'm afraid I've fallen by the wayside.
