One of My All-Time Favorites

Found this today--this is one of my all-time-ever-in-the-world-very-most-favorite pictures. The little laughing one is me; the handsome guy on the left is my dad, Marty. He's one of the best people I know, and I'm so lucky to have him around. He's helped (maybe more than anyone else) make me who I am, today. So I guess this is part of My Sacred Life, too.

this morning i am enjoying your last several posts as i drink my coffee and, i must say, i am so glad that you are doing art every day with me this month. i have been thinking of you often and you've really kept me on track, just by knowing that you are spending your energy in a similar way.

that smile on your little face is so genuine. and your dad...awww, what a nice guy. i loved what you wrote about the colored pencils as well. it is good to have someone in your life that always believes in you. :)

happy art making!

what a precious photo, karen. how lucky you are to have a father who influenced you in such a postive way and whom you love so dearly.

i'm sorry i didn't get back to regarding teaching at asilomar; no i'm not one of the instructors for that venue. i will be in portland in october though. thank you for asking and for stopping by my blog :-)
