Another Stencil


I'm getting better at cutting the stencils--this is an image from a 1922 yearbook. I've always thought that "Ruth" was particularly glamorous. Whenever I use these old pictures, I find myself thinking about the life the person led. Especially for high school yearbooks from so long ago...I know that Ruth is no longer alive, no longer glamorous, no longer young...

I love pictures of people I don't know. I actually have a photo album of collected images I've found all over the place of people I don't know.

do you ever get tired of being so good at so many things?! This is really wonderful! I've never been good at using negative space to finish a picture - this really does it.

Oooo love it. I used to do stencils. Do you have one of those cutters with the little swivel tip? Lethal.
