Does this mean I'm a Gramma?

Ducky had her babies last night between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.! Triplets, two boys and a girl--the girl only lived a couple of hours--something wasn't right. The other two are doing fine.

There's a definite size discrepancy between these two little brothers, though--the brown one is HUGE compared to the little grey one. The kids and I have decided we won't name them today--we'll use today to find good names--we're thinking maybe from mythology or the Bible--So if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

You have GOATS? GOATS??? I am so envious. What else do you have? Are goats really mean? I mean are the mischievous? Can they be affectionate? I have so many questions. This mama sure is beautiful. K

hooray! congratulations on the new additions to your family!

so cute! the fiansor will be so jealous, he really wants to own goats someday. he fell in love with the goats around his father's home in greece. i have to say those babies are adorable!

as for names, the first one that came to mind was "Pan."

How about Bacchus the party guy????

Also there's the obvious choice Pan, who is half goat, half man and played beautiful music.

I loved mythology once upon a time.

Awwww...pygmy babies. So sorry you lost the doe. Ducky looks a bit chunky...extra weight on does...especially pygmies since they are little snarf-o-matics can cause problems with pregnancy and delivery.

They are pretty little bucklings. My experience with my kiddings is that the first one out is usually the biggest.

I'm sure you'll get some good suggestions for names. I always ask people to name my animals...it gets a bit overwhelming at times.
