Wanted to share some sketches I've done in the last few days. I did this sketch this morning of Katie while she was eating breakfast. I've committed myself to drawing some everyday since I'm not that skilled at it. I wish we lived closer to somewhere I could take some classes, but for now I'll just have to keep working on it...

Well, you inspire me! I know for a fact that the more you draw, the better you see and the stronger your lines get - and it doesnt' got away. Maybe a little rusty but shines right up. This is a lovely line drawing! No wishy washy lines here! Great use of white space. If this is something you aren't skilled at - I can only imagine what you'll be doing when you consider yourself "there."
This is so beautiful in its simplicity! Gorgeous!
